POWDER BROWS PMU POLICY

Thank you for choosing me for your Powder Brows appointment. Please read the following policy carefully before booking. These guidelines are in place to protect both you and the artist and to ensure the best possible experience and results.

 

1. APPOINTMENT & BOOKING

The Powder Brows initial treatment is $550 CAD. Appointments are available by booking in advance. Your appointment is only confirmed once the required deposit has been paid.

 

Please make sure you provide the correct contact information when booking. Any important updates regarding your appointment will be sent using the contact details provided.

 

Please arrive on time and come with clean skin around the brow area. Avoid wearing brow makeup, creams, oils, or other products on the brows before your appointment.

2. DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.

The deposit will be deducted from the remaining balance on the day of your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule outside of the permitted timeframe, your deposit may be forfeited and a new deposit may be required to book another appointment.

Deposits are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by the artist.

3. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

You may cancel or modify your appointment without charge anytime 72 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Less than 72 hours notice is considered a “Late Cancellation” and will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service(s).

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “No Show” and charged the full price of the scheduled service(s).

** Appointments booked within the 72-hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy.

** We require a 30% deposit ($165) upfront, with the remaining amount due at the time of service.

4. LATENESS

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled depending on the schedule. A late appointment may also result in losing your deposit.

 

I completely understand that unexpected situations can happen, so please contact me as soon as possible if you know you will be late.

5. BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

For the best results, please avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning, and strong exfoliating treatments around the brow area before your appointment.

​

Please do not wax, thread, or heavily pluck your brows immediately before your appointment.

​

Avoid alcohol before your appointment and follow any specific preparation instructions provided to you.

​

If you have had previous PMU, cosmetic brow tattoos, or microblading, please send a clear photo before booking. Previous pigment may affect whether I can work over the area.

6. ELIGIBILITY & HEALTH

Your safety is my priority.

​

Please inform me before your appointment if you have any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or take medications that may affect the procedure or healing process.

​

Powder Brows may not be suitable if the skin around the brows is irritated, sunburned, infected, or has an active skin condition.

​

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking blood-thinning medication, or have another condition that may affect healing, please consult your doctor and inform me before booking.

​

7. THE PROCEDURE

Powder Brows is a semi-permanent makeup procedure designed to create a soft, powdered makeup effect.

Every client’s brows are different. Results will depend on your natural brows, skin type, lifestyle, skincare routine, and how your skin heals.

​

Before the procedure begins, we will discuss your desired shape and color. Brow mapping will be completed to create a shape that suits your features.

​

Please understand that perfect symmetry cannot always be guaranteed because natural facial features are not perfectly symmetrical.

​

8. HEALING & AFTERCARE

Your brows will appear darker and more defined immediately after the procedure. This is normal.

During the healing process, the brows may become darker, peel, flake, or appear uneven as the skin heals. Do not pick, scratch, or remove any flakes or scabs.

​

Follow all aftercare instructions provided after your appointment.

 

Avoid excessive sweating, swimming, saunas, direct sun exposure, and applying makeup or skincare products directly onto the treated area until the brows have healed. Healing times vary from person to person.

​

9. TOUCH-UP APPOINTMENT

 

After the initial Powder Brows treatment, the brows go through a healing process over the next 6–8 weeks. During this time, some of the pigment may fade or be lost as the skin heals. This is completely normal and does not mean the treatment was unsuccessful.

​

Once the brows have fully healed, we can see how well your skin has retained the pigment. A touch-up may be recommended to add pigment to areas that have healed lighter, refine the color, or improve overall retention.

​

The essential touch-up is scheduled approximately 6–8 weeks after the initial treatment and is NOT included in the initial Powder Brows price. It is a separate service and is charged at $150.

10. RESULTS

PMU results are different for every client. Pigment retention cannot be guaranteed.

​

Factors such as oily skin, skincare products, sun exposure, sweating, hormones, medications, lifestyle, and aftercare can affect the healed result. Color may also soften and fade over time. Maintenance appointments may be recommended to keep your brows looking fresh.

​

11. REFUNDS

Payments and deposits are non-refundable once the service has been performed.

Because PMU is a customized procedure and healing varies between individuals, refunds cannot be issued based solely on personal preference regarding the healed result.

12. AGREEMENT

By booking your Powder Brows appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
